Education
I received my Master's of Architecture at the University of Michigan (CGPA 3.97), having graduated in the Spring of 2024. Admitted on advanced standing and having received the prestigious James & Christine Newman Scholarship, I have had the opportunity to grow as an architect throughout my time in Michigan, culminating in my work being featured twice at the Taubman College annual show, as well as through Taubman's College's online student showcases.
Having received my Bachelor's of Architecture from the American University of Sharjah, my undergraduate education has helped shape me into the designer that I am today. The guidance I received while an undergraduate student has allowed me to develop a design sensibility and technical proficiency that has made me a well-rounded designer. This has allowed me to exhibit my work all across the world, from the Juried Exhibition at the University of Montana, to the RIBA Gulf Inaugural Architecture Festival in Dubai.
Fields of Interests
I'm intrigued by urban design, the act of mapping, and studying the design of cities at large. I enjoy exploring cities through foot and bicycle in order to understand the human scale between end-user and the built environment around them, which I document through means of sketching and photography. I also enjoy looking at past endeavors within society in order to iterate upon what was and to explore the potential of what can be, all while trying to bridge the gap between the analog and digital in order to craft relevant and contemporary design solutions.
